OSH identify confined space as includes but is not limited to – an enclosed or partially enclosed space which:

is at atmospheric pressure during occupancy
is not intended or designed primarily as a place of work
may have a restricted means for entry and exit and
may have an atmosphere that contains potentially
harmful levels of contaminant not have a safe oxygen
level or cause engulfment.

Used for:
Water reservoirs
Storage silos in the plastics industry
Grain, flour, sugar and other food storage silos
Underground tanks and large pipes in sewage treatment and waste disposal
Repairs of damaged water containing structures

Amongst others we have undertaken confined spaces work for Air New Zealand, Aperio Group, Huhtamaki Van Lear, Griffins, Tip Top and Hubbards.

We have 9 staff trained in confined spaces work and all our work follows OSH requirements a minimum standard. All plant pertinent to confined spaces work is owned by Andy Andersons.
